EduGate handles the daily work of running a school — marking attendance, collecting fees, telling a parent their child got on the bus. Teachers use it from their phones. Parents get WhatsApp messages, not circulars that never leave the school bag. And the office finally stops maintaining eleven different registers.
Free plan runs a real class — 30 students, 3 staff logins, attendance and parent messaging included. Upgrade when you outgrow it, not before.
Tazk EduGate is a school management software (school ERP) built for Indian educational institutions. One product runs four kinds of institution — K-12 schools, play schools, colleges, and coaching centres — with the interface adapting to the type chosen at signup. It covers admissions, student records, attendance, timetable, homework, exams and report cards, fee collection with online payment, transport with live bus tracking, library, hostel, and certificates, all on a single student record.
Parent communication is WhatsApp-first: absence alerts, fee reminders, bus-arrival updates, and published results reach parents automatically, with DLT-compliant SMS as fallback. Each institution gets a branded parent and student portal on its own web address, installable to a phone's home screen — without a separate mobile app per school.
For play schools, EduGate adds daily reports (meals, naps, photos) and development-milestone tracking. For coaching centres, it adds batch management, question banks, and timed online mock tests with negative marking and rank lists. Pricing is by institution size, not per student: a free plan covers up to 30 students, and paid plans run from ₹29,990/year (up to 500 students) to ₹1,49,990/year for unlimited students and branches.
You pick what you run when you sign up. EduGate hides what does not apply — a playschool never sees hall tickets, a coaching centre never sees nap times.
Twelve modules that share one student record. Enter a child once at admission; fees, attendance, marks and the bus list all know who she is.
An enquiry form you can put on your website or a QR poster. Walk-ins, calls and form fills land in one list, and you can see which board results week brought the rush.
Term fees, transport fees, late fees, sibling concessions — set them once. Parents pay online through UPI or card, receipts go out on their own, and the defaulters list writes itself. Autopay is there for parents who keep forgetting.
A teacher marks the class in under a minute from a phone. If Aarav is absent, his mother knows on WhatsApp before the first period ends — not at the PTM three weeks later.
Build the exam scheme once, enter marks by subject, and print report cards in your board's format — CBSE style, ICSE style, or grades-only for the little ones. Signatures, footer note, done.
Period timings, bell schedule, teacher allocation. When someone is on leave, you can see which periods are uncovered instead of finding out from a noisy classroom.
Homework with due dates, materials by class or batch. Students see it in their portal; the class WhatsApp group can go back to birthday wishes.
Routes, stops, and live bus tracking. Parents get a heads-up when the bus is near their stop, and 'has the bus reached?' calls to the office mostly stop.
Timed MCQ tests with negative marking, run from your own question bank. The server keeps time, not the student's browser. Rank list is out the same evening.
Issue and return with due dates, hostel rooms and boarding lists. Not glamorous — just the registers those departments keep, without the registers.
Transfer certificates, bonafides, conduct certificates — serial-numbered, on your letterhead, with an issue register. TCs check pending dues before they print.
Fee collection, attendance trends, student risk flags. The Monday-morning numbers a principal actually looks at, ready before Monday morning.
Teachers, accountants, transport staff — each role sees its own work and nothing else. The fee counter cannot edit marks; the science teacher cannot see the fee ledger.
Absence alerts, fee reminders, bus updates, published results — EduGate sends them as they happen, on WhatsApp first with SMS as backup. Messages respect quiet hours, and routine updates stay in the app so parents are not spammed into muting you.
On the money side: online fee payment with UPI and cards, automatic receipts, instalment plans for families that need them, and autopay mandates for the ones who ask you to "just deduct it, sir". The accountant sees who paid, who is due, and who has quietly stopped paying — without maintaining a separate Excel.

Your institution gets its own sign-in page — your logo, your colour, your web address. Parents can add it to their phone's home screen like an app. No app-store submissions, no "please update the app" circulars.
Mark attendance, enter marks, post homework, message parents — from a phone, between periods. No laptop hunt, no staffroom queue for the one computer.
One place for everything about their child: attendance, fees and receipts, report cards, bus location, the daily report with photos if it's a playschool. In their language — the parent portal speaks more than English.
Timetable, homework, study material, online tests with instant rank, notices. Coaching students see their batch's tests and materials, nothing else.
Every role sees only its own work. The fee counter cannot open marks; a parent sees their children and nobody else's. Access is enforced on the server, not hidden behind a menu.
Student and guardian data is encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted on AWS India. Role-based access keeps fees, marks and personal records visible only to the people whose job needs them — and an audit log records every sensitive change.
