Loans and chit funds in one system.Never in one total.
Tazk Finance runs the whole book — KYC, loan plans, approval, disbursement and repayment schedules on one side; chit tariffs, groups, lot draws and payouts on the other. The two ledgers share a customer, a document gate and a receipt series, and nothing else. A chit subscription is not a loan repayment, and a total that blends them is a number nobody can act on.

Two books. One customer. No blended totals.
Every list, receipt, report and dashboard tile in Tazk Finance is per ledger. What the two sides share is the part that should be shared: the same customer record, the same document gate, the same collection engine and the same receipt series.
Loans
A lending book, from the plan a borrower is sold to the closure reference they are handed.
- Loan plans
- Flat interest, a fixed instalment, daily, weekly or monthly. A plan's terms are versioned — the version locks the first time a loan opens on it, so an edit next month cannot change a schedule already agreed.
- Application to disbursement
- Raise, submit, approve with remarks, disburse. Approval is refused until every mandatory document is uploaded AND verified, and the refusal names which ones.
- Repayment schedule
- Generated from the plan at disbursement. Month arithmetic clamps — 31 January plus a month is 28 February, never 2 March — and the last period absorbs the rounding so the schedule sums to the obligation exactly.
- Closure
- Settle early at the full outstanding, or close when the last instalment is paid. Either way the borrower gets a closure reference from its own series.
Chit funds
A chit book, from the tariff a group is formed on to the refund a leaver is paid.
- Stage tariffs
- The tariff is the contract: what each member pays per stage and what the winner takes. It freezes the first time a group opens on it.
- Groups and seats
- Capacity enforced under the group's own lock, so a race cannot oversell a seat. Dues for every stage are raised at enrolment from the pinned tariff.
- Lot and payout
- A physical draw, recorded — not computed. Eligibility is shown per member with the reason anyone is excluded. The payout waits for the winner's security paperwork, and a member wins once.
- Exit and completion
- An exit charges a percentage of the chit value, waives the remaining dues so the leaver drops off every list, and holds the refund until the group completes.
Shared underneath
One customer master with KYC and encrypted personal data. One document gate that blocks a disbursement or a payout until the mandatory paperwork is verified — the same code on both sides, so the rule cannot drift. One collection engine that allocates a payment oldest-due-first and refuses a repeated submission by quoting back the receipt the first attempt produced. One receipt series, so a number an auditor asks about exists exactly once.
The round, the receipt, and the cash that comes back.
Collection is the business. It happens at a door, on a phone, often with one bar of signal — so that is what the app is built for.
Only their own round
A collection executive's phone shows the accounts assigned to them and nothing else — narrowed on the server, not hidden in the app. Asking for another collector's day silently returns their own, and an account reassigned at the office disappears from their list.
Cash or UPI, with a receipt
Take the money on an amount pad built for one hand outdoors. Part payments carry forward, an advance is held as credit rather than invented as a period, and a UPI collection stays unverified until someone at the office checks the account — the customer's receipt is valid either way.
Printed at the door
The phone talks straight to a Bluetooth thermal printer, so a receipt comes off the roll while the customer is standing there. The same figures also go to them on WhatsApp or email as a PDF — one set of numbers, three ways to hand them over.
No signal, no problem
A payment taken with no network is recorded on the phone and sent when the signal returns. It carries a key generated on the device, so a retry, a crash or a replay cannot charge the customer twice — the server refuses the repeat and quotes the first receipt back.
And at the end of the day, one figure — not a conversation.
The collector hands over cash against a total the system worked out from the receipts they issued, and only cash: UPI and transfers are already in the account, so asking for them back would show a shortfall every single day. A difference needs a written reason, an Administrator verifies it, and no collector can verify their own handover. That is the whole control, and it is enforced on the server rather than by a hidden button.
What runs the business, and the rule inside each part
Every card names the rule you would otherwise find out about in month three. They are the reason the figures hold up.
Customers & KYC
One customer master for both ledgers, with names encrypted at rest under the tenant's own key. Upload, verify or reject each document with a reason.
The rule: A customer holding an active loan, chit seat or open application cannot be deactivated — and the refusal names what is holding them.
Loan plans & accounts
Flat-interest plans with a fixed instalment, applications through approval to disbursement, and a generated repayment schedule per account.
The rule: A plan's terms lock the first time a loan opens on them; a later edit forks a new version instead of changing an agreed schedule.
Chit groups & lots
Stage tariffs, groups with seats, dues raised at enrolment, lot draws with per-member eligibility, payouts, exits and completion.
The rule: A member wins at most once, enforced by a database key rather than a check — and collection continues after they have taken their turn.
Collections & receipts
One engine for both books. Cash, UPI, bank transfer or cheque, allocated oldest-due-first, with a receipt carrying exactly what the payment settled.
The rule: A correction is a reversal plus a new payment, never an edit — and a reversal reopens the account it had closed.
Staff settlement
Each collector's day totalled from the receipts they issued, handed over, and verified by the office. Short and over are both recorded.
The rule: Only cash is settled. A collector cannot verify their own handover, and a difference cannot be signed off without a written reason.
Reminders & receipts out
Due and overdue reminders on WhatsApp, SMS or email, plus disbursement, payout, exit and completion notices — through the same channels the rest of Tazk uses.
The rule: A reminder is keyed so a re-run cannot message a customer twice, and a failed send is kept in the history rather than quietly dropped.
Reports
Customer ledger, loan book, chit register, collections by date and staff, staff settlement, and cash-versus-UPI reconciliation. All exportable.
The rule: The columns are declared by the server, so a report and the screen showing it cannot disagree about what a figure means.
Roles & audit
Administrator, Employee, Collection Executive and Accountant, each with what they need and nothing else. Every money action stamped with who did it.
The rule: A collector takes money but cannot reverse it; an Accountant reads and exports and touches nothing. Checked on the server, not by hiding a button.

YOUR PRIVACY
IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY
Customer data — names, addresses, KYC documents and bank details — is encrypted in transit and at rest under your own tenant key, hosted on AWS India. Names are decrypted per request and never cached on a device. Role-based access keeps collections, documents and ledgers visible only to the people whose job needs them, and every money action is stamped with who did it and when.
