Most gym software in India is a billing tool with no accounting behind it — you collect on UPI, then hand a shoebox of screenshots to your CA in July. Tazk Gym is a full gym ERP with native GST books: the membership you sell today posts itself, the dues you chase sit in the same ledger, and the return at the end of the quarter comes out of the system that took the money.
The free plan runs a real gym — 75 active members, 3 staff logins, members, renewals and QR check-in included. Upgrade when you outgrow it, not before.
Tazk Gym is gym management software (a gym ERP) built for Indian fitness businesses — single-studio gyms, multi-branch chains, CrossFit and boutique studios, and yoga and pilates centres. It covers members with encrypted personal data, membership plans with freeze, transfer and pro-rata upgrades, dues with part-payments and instalments, and a renewals workbench that lists everyone due at D-7, D-3, D-1 and overdue with one-tap WhatsApp reminders.
What separates it from the billing tools most Indian gyms run on is that the accounting is native, not bolted on. Fitness services bill at 5% GST under SAC 999723 while supplements sold at the counter bill as goods at their own rate, both land in one set of books, and GSTR workpapers come out of the same transactions that took the money. Collections are UPI-first: payment links and QR without a payment-gateway account, plus RBI-compliant auto-debit mandates with pre-debit notices and a dunning ladder when a debit fails.
On the floor, check-in runs on standard ZKTeco and eSSL biometric, face and QR devices, with expired memberships and unpaid balances denied at the door automatically. Classes carry capacity limits and waitlists; personal-training packages track session check-off and trainer commissions with 194J advisory; body assessments, workout plans and diet plans sit on the member record; and a member app and trainer app carry all of it on the phone. Retention radar flags at-risk and absent members, and multi-branch groups get home-club versus all-access memberships, central plans, HQ approvals, corporate memberships and consolidated reporting. Pricing is by gym size, not per member: a free plan covers 75 active members, and paid plans run from ₹5,999/year to ₹1,499 per branch per month for chains.
You can already take money in six ways. What you cannot do is close the month. Tazk Gym is the gym ERP where the front desk, the collections and the accounts are the same system.
Sixteen modules on one member record. Join a member once; the plan, the dues, the door reader, the class booking and the ledger all know who they are.
One record per member — plan, start date, dues, check-in history, assessments, PT sessions. Personal details are encrypted at rest, because a gym holds phone numbers, addresses and body measurements for a few thousand people.
Monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, annual — plus joining fees, couple plans and student rates. Freeze a membership when a member travels, transfer it, or upgrade mid-term with the pro-rata worked out for you.
The screen the front desk actually lives on: who is due at D-7, D-3, D-1 and who is already overdue. One tap sends the WhatsApp reminder with the payment link in it. Renewal stops being something you remember on a Sunday.
Part-payments, instalment plans and outstanding balances tracked per member. The receipt goes out on payment, the balance follows the member, and the front desk can see it at check-in instead of asking around.
Collect by UPI link or QR without opening a payment-gateway account. For the members who prefer it, set up an RBI-compliant auto-debit mandate — pre-debit notice before every deduction, and a dunning ladder when one fails.
Biometric, face or QR check-in on standard ZKTeco and eSSL devices. Expired memberships and members in dues are denied entry automatically — the awkward conversation happens at the reader, not with your trainer.
For gyms that would rather not touch a fingerprint reader at 6 AM. Same rules underneath: expiry and dues decide who gets in, and every entry is stamped against the member's record.
Schedule Zumba, spin, yoga and HIIT with a capacity per slot. Members book from the app; when a slot fills, the next member joins a waitlist and moves up when somebody cancels.
PT packages sold by session count, with session check-off so nobody trains on sessions they have used. Trainer commissions calculate off the sessions actually delivered, with 194J TDS advisory where it applies.
Body measurements, weight and composition recorded over time, with workout and diet plans attached to the member. Six months in, a member can see what they bought — which is the whole retention argument.
Sell protein, gear and merchandise through Tazk POS at the front desk. Supplements bill as goods at their own GST rate while the membership beside them bills at 5% — on one bill, in one set of books.
Native accounting under the gym, not bolted beside it. Fitness services at 5% GST (SAC 999723), goods at their own rate, ledgers that reconcile, and GSTR workpapers generated from the transactions that created them.
At-risk and absent-member flags built from check-in patterns and renewal history. You find out someone has stopped coming in week two, not on the day they ask for a refund.
Trial passes with an expiry, walk-in enquiries, and referral credit for the member who brought a friend. The funnel that refills the floor, tracked in the same place as the members already on it.
Home-club and all-access memberships, plans defined centrally, HQ approvals for discounts, corporate and B2B memberships, and consolidated reporting across branches — with each branch still seeing only its own floor.
DPDP consent captured at join, and erasure tooling for when a member asks to be forgotten. Member data is encrypted, access is by role, and an audit trail records who looked at what.
A gym does not lose members to a competitor as often as it loses them to a renewal nobody followed up. The renewals workbench puts D-7, D-3, D-1 and overdue in one list, and every row sends a WhatsApp reminder in one tap — with a UPI payment link in the message, so the member can renew without walking in.
Collections are UPI-first by design. You can take money by payment link or QR without ever opening a payment-gateway account, and for the members who want it, set up an RBI-compliant auto-debit mandate. Every mandate sends its pre-debit notice before the money moves, and a failed debit starts a dunning ladder instead of quietly becoming a bad month.

Check-in runs on the biometric, face or QR readers you already own — standard ZKTeco and eSSL devices. An expired membership or an unpaid balance is denied at the reader, so your trainer never has to have that conversation on the floor.
Check in with a QR code, book the 7 AM class, see the waitlist move, pay dues by UPI, and follow their own workout plan, diet plan and body-assessment history. The app is the reason a member renews without being chased.
Today's PT sessions, session check-off as they finish, class rosters, and the assessments they recorded for each member. Commissions calculate off the sessions actually delivered — the trainer can see the same number the payout uses.
Home-club and all-access memberships across branches, plans defined centrally, HQ approval before a manager discounts a plan, corporate and B2B memberships, and consolidated reporting — with each branch still seeing only its own floor.
Every role sees only its own work. A trainer sees their sessions, not the day's collections; a branch manager sees their branch, not the group. Access is enforced on the server, not hidden behind a menu.
Member data — phone numbers, addresses, photos and body measurements — is encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted on AWS India. Role-based access keeps collections, assessments and personal records visible only to the people whose job needs them, DPDP consent is captured at join, and erasure tooling handles a member's request to be forgotten.
