Mail Settings

Overview

Each location sends email from its own outgoing mail account. Open Configuration > Mail.

The Mail List

Each row shows the Server with its port and whether the connection is secure, the Sender name and address, the Password (hidden), any BCC, the Location, and edit and delete Actions. Use Search mail and the filter icon to find one.

Adding a Mail Account

Click + Add Mail Config to open Configure Mail Settings.

FieldDescription
Host*Your mail provider's SMTP host, for example smtp.gmail.com
Port*587 for TLS, 465 for SSL
From User Name*The name shown as the sender
From User Mail*The account mail is sent from
Password*For Gmail and Outlook, an app password — not the account password
Select Location*One mail configuration per location
BCC (optional)Addresses that get a blind copy of every mail. Press Enter after each one
Secure connectionUse TLS / SSL. Turn it off only for a server that does not offer it

The Mail preview on the right fills in as you type. Click Test Mail, then Save settings, or Cancel.

Important: Gmail and Outlook reject the normal account password. Create an app password in your account security settings and use that.
