What happens when I cancel an invoice in Tazk POS?
A cancelled invoice keeps its record but is treated as a non-event: it no longer counts in the dashboard’s Sales, Gross Profit or Net Profit figures, and an e-commerce order whose only invoice was cancelled counts as not yet converted. See the Invoices article for how to cancel.
Invoices
Which sales figure does the dashboard use?
The Sales card is the net taxable value of your invoices — after line and bill discounts, excluding GST, and excluding cancelled invoices. Use the dropdown on the card for Current FY, Current Month, Previous Month or Previous Year. See Dashboard Overview.
Where do I see what a customer still owes?
In Receivables, on the Outstanding tab of the customer in Customer Contacts, and on the Receivables view of the Calendar, which places each unpaid invoice on its due date.
How is an invoice’s due date worked out?
From the invoice date and the customer’s Credit days, set on the customer in Customer Contacts.
E-commerce orders
When does an online order count as converted?
When at least one invoice (not a cancelled one, and not just a delivery challan) has been raised against it. An order invoiced in parts is still counted once. The dashboard’s E-Com tile shows Orders and Converted to Invoice; click it to open Ecom Orders.
Discounts and prices
Can I give a customer special prices?
Yes — choose a Price List on the customer in Customer Contacts; price lists are managed in Customer Price List. A discount type and discount can also be set on the customer.
Why was my counter discount sent for approval?
Your sale counter has a Maximum Discount Allowed in an approval rule. Anything above it goes to Approvals as a POS Discount request.
Printing
Can I print POS bills on a thermal printer?
Yes. Templates come in Thermal 80mm and Thermal 58mm as well as A4 and A5. Set your POS Receipt default in Document Templates, and choose Thermal as the output when you print.
Can I save an invoice as a PDF?
Yes — choose PDF as the Output in the Print Document window, then download it.
