Connect Facebook Lead Ads

How do I get my Facebook lead-ad enquiries into Tazk CRM?

Open Integrations → All Connections, click Connect Facebook on the Facebook & Instagram ads card, sign in with the Facebook account that manages your Page and allow Tazk access. Back in Tazk, tick only your own Pages under Connected accounts and click Save Pages. From then on every lead-form submission on those Pages arrives in Leads within a minute, with the source Meta Lead Ads.

What do I need before I connect?

  • You are an Administrator in Tazk. Other roles can see the connection but not change it.
  • The Facebook account you sign in with has full control of the Page that runs your lead ads, including access to its leads.
  • The Page has at least one lead form (Instant Form) in Meta Ads Manager.
Note: If your business uses Leads access in Meta Business Suite (Settings → Integrations → Leads access), add Tazk to the list of CRMs allowed to receive leads. If Leads access is switched off, there is nothing to do.

How do I connect Facebook?

  1. In Tazk, open Integrations → All Connections in the left menu.
  2. On the Facebook & Instagram ads card, click Connect Facebook.
  3. Facebook opens. Sign in, choose your business and the Pages to share with Tazk, and allow the permissions it asks for.
  4. Facebook sends you back to Tazk. Finish in the same browser you started in. Tazk shows Facebook connected and looks up your Pages.
  5. If no Page is ticked yet, Tazk opens Connected accounts so you can choose them (next section).

Which Pages should I tick?

Go to Integrations → All Connections → Connected accounts (the button at the top right). In the Facebook section, the Facebook Pages list has a Receive leads tick box for each Page your login can see.

  • Tick only your own Pages. If your Facebook login also manages other businesses' Pages (for example a client's), leave those unticked, or their leads come into your CRM.
  • Click Save Pages. Tazk checks the connection straight away.
  • A Page can send leads to one Tazk account only. If the same Page is ticked in another Tazk account, its leads are held back until it is unticked in one of them.
Tip: Unticking a Page only stops its leads coming into Tazk. Nothing changes on Facebook, and you can tick it again at any time.

How do I check that it is working?

On Connected accounts, click Check now in the Facebook section. You should see:

  • Receive leads from Facebook & Instagram lead forms marked Ready;
  • a line telling you until when Facebook shares your Pages' data, for example Facebook access until 26 Nov.

When the next real enquiry comes in, it appears under Leads with the source Meta Lead Ads and the campaign it came from, and the Facebook card on All Connections shows when the last lead arrived.

Note: Leads made with Meta's Lead Ads Testing Tool are not added to your CRM, because every answer in them is placeholder text. If you want to try the whole path before your ads run, ask Tazk support to keep test leads for your account while you test. They then arrive titled [TEST].

Does the connection need renewing?

Yes, now and then. Facebook shares your Pages' data for 90 days after the last time you signed in through Tazk. Tazk tells your administrators about two weeks before that date (Facebook asks you to sign in again by …). Click Reconnect on the Facebook card and sign in again; your Pages and settings stay as they are.

How do I disconnect Facebook?

Click Disconnect on the Facebook & Instagram ads card. New leads stop at once; the leads already in your CRM stay until you delete them. You can also remove Tazk on Facebook under Settings → Business integrations. To delete the data Tazk received, see Data Deletion Instructions.
