How do I get Google Ads lead-form submissions into Tazk CRM?
Google Ads sends lead-form submissions to Tazk through a webhook, so no Google sign-in is needed. In Tazk open Integrations → All Connections, click Connect Google Ads on the Google Ads & YouTube lead forms card and click Create my webhook. Then, in Google Ads, open each lead form, go to Lead delivery option → Webhook integration, paste the Webhook URL and Key from Tazk, and save the form.
How do I create the webhook in Tazk?
- Open Integrations → All Connections in the left menu. You need to be an Administrator.
- On the Google Ads & YouTube lead forms card, click Connect Google Ads.
- Under 1. Create your webhook, click Create my webhook. Tazk shows a Webhook URL and a Key.
How do I set it up in Google Ads?
Do this for each lead form you run. All your forms use the same URL and key.
- Open Google Ads and go to Assets → Lead forms (under Campaigns in the left menu). Open the form, or create one from your campaign's assets.
- Scroll to Lead delivery option → Webhook integration.
- Paste the Webhook URL and the Key from Tazk.
- Click Send test data (see the next section first if you want the test to create a lead).
- Save the form. Every real submission from now on becomes a lead in Tazk.
How do I test it?
Google's Send test data button sends a sample lead. In Tazk, the top of the Google lead forms page then shows Google reached us within a few seconds, so you know the URL and key are right.
By default the sample is not turned into a lead, because its details are made up. To see it under Leads as well, switch on Turn Google's test submissions into leads before you click Send test data. Switch it off again when you have finished testing.
Where do the real leads show?
Under Leads, with the source Google Lead Form. The answers to any extra questions on your form are in the lead's description. The Google card on All Connections shows when the last lead arrived.
