Overview
The Schedule Shift page lets you assign shifts to employees for specific date ranges. You can schedule for a whole month or between custom dates. This is how you tell the system which shift each employee follows.

Creating a Schedule
- Navigate to Shifts > Schedule Shift from the sidebar
- Click the + button in the toolbar
- Choose the schedule type under Month - Year:
- Month Wise — Assign the shift for the entire selected month
- Date Wise — Assign the shift for a custom date range
- If Date Wise is selected:
- Select the Start Date
- Select the End Date
- Select a Shift from the dropdown
- (Optional) Enable Overwrite to replace existing shift assignments for the selected dates
- Use filters to find employees:
- Category
- Department
- Role
- Location
- Select employees from the left panel
- Review selected employees in the right panel
- Click Submit to assign the shift
Note: Employees can have different shifts on different days. When overlapping schedules exist, the most recently created schedule assignment takes priority for those dates.
Tip: For rotating shifts, create multiple schedules with "Between Dates" for the same employee — e.g., Week 1: Morning Shift, Week 2: Night Shift.
Important: Deleting a shift schedule removes the assignment for all employees in that schedule. Double-check before deleting, especially for past dates where attendance has already been recorded.
