Insurance

Overview

The Insurance module under Renewals helps you track all your insurance policies — the ones linked to assets and individual ones. The counters at the top show how many policies you have, which are due or expired, and how much is insured.

Insurance list with counters — Total, Active, Due This Week, Expired, Individual, Total Insured, Yearly Premium — and a table of insurance records

Summary Counters

The badge next to the Insurance heading shows how many policies you have. The counters beside it break that down:

CounterDescription
TotalAll insurance records
ActivePolicies that are currently in force
Due This WeekPolicies that end this week
ExpiredPolicies whose end date has passed
IndividualPolicies not linked to an asset
Total InsuredSum of the insured amounts across policies (₹)
Yearly PremiumTotal annual premium being paid across all policies (₹)

The counter you are viewing is underlined — Total by default.

Insurance List

The table lists all insurance records with:

  • Asset — Name of the insured asset
  • Type — Insurance type (e.g., Fire Insurance, Theft Insurance)
  • Start Date / End Date — Policy validity period
  • Status — Whether the policy is Active
  • Amount — The policy amount (₹)
  • Attachment — Uploaded policy documents, or – if none
  • ⋮ (three dots) — Actions for that record
Tip: Use the Search here box to quickly find a specific asset's insurance, or the filter icon next to it to narrow the list.
