Overview
Cheques lists the cheques you have received from customers, so you can present them on time and follow up on any that bounce. Open Cash & Bank > Cheques.

Filters
The buttons at the top show the number of cheques and their total amount, and filter the list when you click them:

| All | Every cheque |
| Not Presented | Cheques not yet deposited in the bank |
| Due Today | Cheques whose date is today |
| Due > 15 | Cheques due more than 15 days ahead |
| Bounced (red) | Cheques the bank returned unpaid |
The Cheques List
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Tick box | Select a cheque. The box in the heading selects them all |
| Customer | Who gave you the cheque |
| Receipt Date / Cheque Date | When you received it, and the date written on it |
| Cheque Amount / Cheque Number | As written on the cheque |
| Invoice Number | What it pays for, for example INV/26-27/019 And Advance |
| Status | For example Presented once it has been deposited |
| Action | ⋮ gives more actions for the cheque |
Use Search here to find a cheque, and ⋮ at the top right for more options.
Note: Cheques come from the receipts you record on Sales > Receipts. Payments > Analytics shows them in its Cheque pipeline on the Bank & Cheques tab.
Tip: Check Due Today every morning so no post-dated cheque is presented late.
