How Leave Policy Works
- Admin creates a leave policy for each employee category with weekly offs, leave types (CL, SL, etc.), and their counts.
- When an employee raises a Leave Request, the system checks the policy — available balance, max per month, notice period, and carry forward limits.
- The approved/rejected leave is reflected in Attendance Process where the system marks off days and leave deductions based on the policy.
- The final attendance feeds into Salary Process for payroll calculation — paid leaves have no salary impact, unpaid leaves result in deductions.
