Overview
The Configuration module lets you customize Tazk Assets to fit your organization's workflows. Access it from the sidebar under Configuration.
Configuration Sections
Approvals
Define approval workflows for scrap asset requests:
- Department Name — Which department this workflow applies to
- Request Type — Type of request (e.g., Scrap Asset)
- Approver — Who approves the request
- Verifier — Who verifies after approval
Click the edit icon to modify or the delete icon to remove a workflow.
Custom Fields
Add custom data fields to asset records beyond the default fields. Useful for industry-specific data like serial numbers, rack locations, or department codes.
SMS
Configure SMS gateway settings for sending alerts and reminders via text messages.
Set up email server configuration (SMTP) for sending email notifications, reminders, and reports.
Configure WhatsApp Business API integration for sending renewal reminders and audit notifications via WhatsApp.
Important: Ensure your SMS and email configurations are tested before enabling alert notifications. Incorrect settings may cause alerts to fail silently.
