Overview
Audit Checklists are reusable templates that define what questions and checks an auditor needs to perform during an asset audit. Each checklist is tied to a specific asset group and type.

Creating a Checklist
- Navigate to Audit Checklist in the sidebar
- Click the + button
- Fill in the checklist form

Form Fields
| Field | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Checklist Name | Yes | Name for this template |
| Asset Group | Yes | Which asset group this checklist applies to |
| Asset Type | Yes | Specific asset type within the group |
| No of Attachments Allowed | Yes | Maximum photos the auditor can upload |
| Image attachment is required | No | Make photo evidence mandatory |
Self Audit Questions
Add questions that auditors must answer with Yes or No:
- Enter the question text in the "Enter audit message" field
- Select default expected answer (Yes/No)
- Click + to add more questions
Example questions: "Is the asset physically present?", "Is the asset in working condition?", "Does the serial number match records?"
Declaration
At the bottom, there's a compliance declaration checkbox: "I hereby declare that I have audited the specified asset as assigned. I confirm that the audit was conducted in accordance with the relevant standards and regulations."
Tip: Create separate checklists for different asset types — a laptop audit checklist will have different questions than a vehicle audit checklist.
