Overview

The Announcement module lets administrators broadcast messages to employees. Announcements are displayed in the app and can be targeted by department and location.

Creating an Announcement

Navigate to Announcement in the sidebar
Click the + button
Fill in the announcement form

New Announcement form — Select Department, Select Location, Select Employees, Days (duration), and Announcement text area

Form Fields

Field	Required	Description
Select Department	Yes	Target department(s)
Select Location	Yes	Target location(s)
Select Employees	Yes	Specific employees or "All"
Days	Yes	How many days the announcement stays active
Announcement	Yes	The announcement message text

Tip: Use announcements for policy changes, maintenance schedules, office closures, or any important updates that affect asset management.
