Overview
The Alerts module lets you create custom reminder notifications for any renewal type linked to an asset. Alerts ensure you never miss a deadline.
Creating a New Alert
- Navigate to Alerts in the sidebar
- Click the + button
- Fill in the alert form
Form Fields
| Field | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Renewal Type | Yes | Which renewal this alert is for (Insurance, Warranty, etc.) |
| Asset Name | Yes | Select the specific asset |
| Title | No | Custom title for the alert |
| Alert Receiver | Yes | Who should receive the alert |
| Description | No | Additional context for the alert |
| Alerts Before | Yes | How many days before the deadline to send the alert |
| Repeat | No | Send the alert repeatedly until acknowledged |
Alert Channels
Choose how alerts are delivered:
- Email — Send email notifications
- SMS — Send text message alerts
Tip: Create alerts for all critical renewals — insurance expiry, warranty end dates, and compliance filing deadlines.
