Overview
The Live Location module allows administrators and managers to track field employees in real time using GPS. This is useful for monitoring employees working outside the office such as sales or service teams.
Live Tracking
- Displays a map with employee location pins
- Each pin represents the current location of an employee
- Click on a pin to view employee details
- Shows employee name, last updated time, and current address
- Auto-refreshes based on tracking interval (default: 5 seconds)
Configuration
Live Location settings are configured in Configuration > General Config.

Per-Employee Setup
Each employee must have Enable Live Location turned on in their Application Info settings (Contacts > Edit Employee > Application Info).
Important
- Live Location requires employee consent
- Must be enabled per employee
- Tracking is active only during working hours
